For more than 20 years, David has been committed to developing cutting-edge technology solutions for staffing companies. During his tenure at TempWorks, he founded the funding division, Lone Oak Payroll, to support staffing agencies in their growth. David also served as the advisor for the strategic roadmap that supports the technology needs of our customers. Under his leadership, TempWorks optimized staffing software tools for a mobile workforce—such as via Buzz, the first native app within the staffing industry. Today, he continues to offer his expertise in market research and staffing industry trends in support of TempWorks and our staffing community.

Ashlee Mikesh
As the Director of Account Management, Ashlee cultivates relationships across various partnership levels. Working strategically on both small and large scales, Ashlee is dedicated to driving client growth under any market conditions. She works to understand the challenges and initiatives of each client to support them in reaching their goals, increasing customer retention, and achieving success in competitive environments. Ashlee holds over a decade of extensive experience at Lone Oak Payroll, having worked in areas such as payroll, tax, credit, underwriting, contract management, accounts receivable, project management, and account management.

Jordan Anderson
Jordan joined the Lone Oak Payroll team in 2023, bringing 15 years of experience as a seasoned sales executive in the staffing industry. His extensive background equips him with valuable industry insights and a consultative approach that greatly benefits our customers. A graduate of Minnesota State University, Mankato, Jordan holds a B.S. Degree in Sales & Marketing. Throughout his career, he has consistently excelled in sales and sales leadership roles, showcasing a commitment to driving success and fostering strong client relationships. At home, Jordan is a husband to his beautiful wife, Kristen, and a loving father to their daughter, Harper. Their German Shepherd dog, Malu, completes their family. Beyond his family life, Jordan pursues a range of hobbies, including fitness, golf, and grilling. With his diverse skill set and passion for connecting with people, Jordan continues to make significant contributions to the Lone Oak Payroll team, ensuring excellence in service and client satisfaction.

Brett Cavanagh
Brett Cavanagh joined the Lone Oak Payroll team in 2019, bringing 12 years of experience in recruitment, sales, and regional operations leadership. Appointed to the role of President in 2022, Brett draws from his background in strategic leadership and market analysis to cultivate partnerships, enhance customer experience, and drive product innovation. Before his appointment to the role of President, Brett was Chief Revenue Officer. He has also served as Senior Sales Manager, Director of Sales, and Executive Vice President. Throughout his tenure, Brett has remained committed to supporting TempWorks in developing quality solutions and industry-leading service.

Jaron Covey
With over 10 years of experience in staffing, Jaron joined the Lone Oak Payroll team in 2021 as an account manager. In this role, he supports clients in identifying their goals and growing their business. Jaron works to build and maintain relationships with customers, guiding them in identifying opportunities to add revenue to their current portfolios. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from Tarleton State University.

Kathryn Keller
With almost seven years of experience in the staffing industry, Kathryn transitioned over to the Lone Oak Payroll team in 2024. She truly believes in our company values and our core behavior of transparency in all partnerships. With her staffing experience and passion for client service, she looks for opportunities to assist her customers in overcoming obstacles and growing their business to its full potential. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas. Outside of LOP, Kathryn enjoys traveling with her husband Cody and exploring the outdoors with their bird dog Brü.

Joe Bass
Joe Bass is the Chief Financial Officer of Lone Oak Payroll, where he leads all aspects of the company’s finance and accounting functions. He joined the company in 2021 as the Vice President of Finance, bringing more than 15 years of progressive experience as a strategic business partner supporting a wide variety of stakeholder groups at both large public and small private companies. As a senior finance leader, Joe’s passion is to connect underlying numbers to long-term strategy and decision making. He holds an MBA from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management and a BS in Finance and Accounting from Indiana University, Kelley School of Business.

Jeff Delgado
Jeff Delgado joined the Lone Oak Payroll team in 2018, bringing with him 15 years of experience in the staffing industry. Previously, Jeff owned a staffing agency and worked on the leadership team for a large staffing company. Before that, Jeff worked in executive management positions in the oil and gas, environmental consulting, and transportation industries.
As the Director of National Sales at Lone Oak Payroll, Jeff uses his previous experience as a business owner, as well as his robust industry knowledge, to help businesses reach their growth potential.

Alex LaVone
Alex joined LOP in 2021 as a payroll specialist and steadily progressed to the role of account manager. With his background in payroll and economics, Alex thrives in finding solutions to help staffing firms overcome challenges. He believes relationships are central to everything we do at Lone Oak. By taking the time to understand each client individually, he’s able to help address immediate issues while supporting clients in their long-term goals, helping them to proactively strategize for the future. Beyond Lone Oak, Alex is an avid chess player, Minnesota sports fan, and artificial intelligence enthusiast.

Taylor earned a degree in business administration from Mankato State University with a focus on accounting, marketing, and management. He joined Lone Oak Payroll in 2021, bringing expertise in sales and management from his work in the auto industry. Coming from the world of finance, Taylor understands that every dollar counts. He is dedicated to helping our customers maximize their cashflow needs.

Zac joined Lone Oak Payroll in 2024 as a sales professional. As Chief Operating Officer, Mari oversees operational and administrative functions. Mari has dual degrees in Math and Accounting, and more than 15 years of experience working with companies of varying size to utilize software while streamlining back office processes. As the head of Operations, Mari strives to create efficient processes for our team members while advising on scalable software configurations for our customers.

Before starting in the support department in 2006, Maria Storm attended school in Portugal and France. Maria has worked to develop the company’s second generation of payroll funding modules and today leads the rapidly growing payroll funding team at Lone Oak Payroll.
Senior Vice President of Credit
Kevin Standa
Kevin joined the Lone Oak Payroll team in 2018, bringing more than 15 years of experience in factoring and asset-based lending. In addition to being a licensed attorney, he holds a strong background in credit and risk management. Kevin has helped to reduce risk and increase efficiency by creating new processes and procedures for Lone Oak Payroll, more than doubling the portfolio of A/R and revenue.
Kevin holds a B.A. from The University of Minnesota, Twin Cities and a J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law. When he is not working, he spends most of his time with his beautiful wife and three chaotic children (with an occasional round of golf mixed in).
